History
LH4 was born on Tuesday, 15th June, 1971, with an inaugural run starting from beyond the original barrier leading into Tai Tam Country Park (now the road up to Parkview).
In the first year the membership was 27 ladies with 9 honorary male members.
The original LH4 Constitution restricted membership to ladies only with men being honorary members. In 1979 non-voting male members were then allowed to participate up to a percentage of 25% of the total membership. This was formally amended at the AGM on 19 June, 2001, when members agreed to open the membership to "Gentlemen Subscribers" (non-voters) who must not exceed 33% of the total LH4 membership.
